I don't know exactly what to think of the this book. It was interesting, with good writing and plot twists but I didn't quite understand the ending...the same with Gone Girl. I'm reading Sharp Objects next, so I guess we will see if this is a continuing trait of this writer.

Solid thriller, I like Gillian Flynn's writing so that works for me. The ending, for me, left much to be desired......but idk maybe it works for you

I’m still trying to figure out my thoughts on this one. It’s a little disturbing and crimes to children. And a bit dark. But well written. Would I recommend it yes.

I always like Flynn's writing style and find it easy to read. I've read Sharp Objects and enjoyed the plot twists in that one. I felt like this ending (no spoilers) I half guessed whereas the other book I was blindsided. Overall though, very good. I enjoyed reading each chapter from a different person's perspective of the day.
