This was delightful! It had some of the same flavours as the Thursday Murder Club books -- this novel feels very characteristic of Osman's style -- but I liked the new cast of characters and the new settings and problems for them to solve. It was a tiny bit slow at the start but once the story got going it kept me engaged. I will happily read a sequel (even while I'm eagerly waiting for the next Thursday Murder Club novel).
Graphic: Gun violence and Murder
Minor: Misogyny
