Part of me thinks this book could have been 100 pages shorter, it felt repetitive in the second half. However, in the chapters when the prose was so rich the words jumped off the page, I didn’t quite mind the repetition. The experience of this book is perilously, fiercely, divinely Woman.

A lush and harsh story about the what it is to be a woman in a world that wants to keep us powerless, the bond and strength of sisters, and the power of having the words, the will, and the way. Loved it.
