It is a great book! I absolutely loved it. It was a take on an enemies to lovers trope.
What ruined this experience for me is that I have read something very similar before (a series by an author on the Episode app). The books came out before those on Episode, but the fact that I met the episode take on this first… It is 3 episode stories. It is three boks in Claws and Fangs: Gem and Ryker Collection. I have a feeling that I know what the next books in the series is about.
This books has werewolves, vampires, packs, jealousy, excitement, hard-to-get, misunderstandings, frustration, anger, romance, sadness … (both for the characters and the readers). It does have one spicy scene, foul language and other spicy descriptors, but they do not overshadow the plot. I can’t wait to see what Miss Spade does in the next book; I just hope it isn’t similar to the copy cat on episode 👀 That way, it takes me more by surprise.
