Bueno, termine la trilogía.
Cuando la leí por primera vez hace 20 años me pareció maravillosa, está vez, ví muchas cosas que envejecieron muy mal

Great resolution to the trilogy. It feels like every character got a great wrap-up, some happier than others, and the consistent threads throughout finalized wonderfully. Couldn't put it down the last half or so.

I would give this series a 3.5 overall. The story is very intricate and well told. However, the language used sometimes made me roll my eyes. It was unnecessarily flowery. Also, the author kept using the word "diffidently" which just rubbed me the wrong way. Why so diffident, Guy?

Normally I could let those things slide though, because this is after all fantasy. But! He had to go and insert Camelot into the story. Everything about the Camelot subplot irritated me. Why not have these characters and events without having to constantly explicitly reference existing lore? That was lame and really took away from my enjoyment of the series.

The final installment of the trilogy was a bit hard to get into at first but once I started to remember all the threads the story really got moving and I ended up finding it just as enjoyable as the first two books. Listened to the audio version which was ably narrated by Simon Vance.

Lovely satisfying ending to a memorable trilogy. Kay rarely disappoints. I am a little miffed with him for a few of the endings for certain characters, even if some ended better than I could have imagined. I guess you can't have it all. Probably the most "high fantasy" of all Kay's books I've read so far, and while I do like the historical-y ones more, these were very well done.

Wow. Just...wow. I'm a bit annoyed with myself for taking so long to start reading this. What a beautiful, amazing tale it all was.

Don't know why I could never finish this book. I loved the first two and this one was just a big fat disappointment.

This rating is from 17 year old me. I don't know what current age me would think. Sometimes current age me is a little jaded and unpleasant :P
