I really liked the plot development of this book, although I did find the ending rather abrupt, it lacked... something. The author easily blended one scene to another making it an equally easy to read book. I also liked the characters' personalities, there's wit and sexiness all around and, furthermore, I liked the fact that there were no "undercurrent" of conflicting feelings: both characters knew what they felt was different even if they did not like it. It felt like an honest story, for lack of a better word. Another plus, in my honest opinion is the fact that the female protagonist was not a victim. She was not a crybaby. She was confident, hard working and knew what she wanted out of her life.
I would have liked some sort of conflict, I'm used to the beginning, development (middle/climax) and end (denouement) structure and I felt like the middle was a little weak. The idea was good but the development could have been better in terms of plot solidity. It was definitely a fun, light, funny read and I will be checking another of her books to get a better feel on her writing. I liked the way she writes, though.

I love the way Emma writes and this effing hot novella is Emma on hotness crack! I loved it. It's fast paced, hot, sexy, funny and highly entertaining. A sexy blind date turns into a business relationship where neither Carter or Bee can seem to keep their minds off each other. Will they stop fighting long enough to see if there's something real between them?

A very unrealistic story with an irritating set of main characters. Can't stand the cocky 'alpha' male type, so this book really wasn't for me.

This novella is short, sexy, sinful, dirty and filthy. Very very filthy! I don't know about you but my e-Reader was literally burning up so much hotness! I've heard that blind dates can either go down or up. But this blind date... Phew! SOOOOO HOT!
For a novella, this books is packed with emotions, hot alpha male, sassy heroine, hot sex and so much sass and hot sex... Did I mention sex? IT WAS OFF THE CHARTS!! From the moment Bee and Carter met it was like fireworks. This book is literally overflowing with passion and hot sexual tension.
And OMG!!! CARTER HUGHES
This novella is just the right length to give you a story that you are bound to love and you will love and hate and love Bee and Carter. If you are looking for a book that is short and deliciously and sinfully sexy then I definitely recommend this book to you!

This was my first Emma Hart book, and I'm excited to read more after this, I'll be going through Goodreads and adding her others to my rapidly growing to-read list. She kept it a comical, quick, witty read, and I found it hard to put down once I picked it up!
