Honestly I thought I wouldn’t care much for Wilder’s story because he was so closed off from the rest of our Calamity crew and I live for the sprinkles of them in each story. While I would’ve loved to hear more from other couples, I can’t lie. Wilder and Iris were so damn good. Like I could not put this book down good.
Something about a broody grump who only has time for his woman just works for me. Every single time. And Devney sure knows how to deliver.

I really enjoyed this one and learning about Wilders past😭😭 I think it was a slower pace than what I wanted, and it took my longer than usual to finish it! But I still enjoyed it!

This is one of the best books of the series...a very enjoyable final installment to Calamity.
Would have been a 5.0⭐ but a .5 deduction for the weirdness in the last 20% with Iris insisting that Wilder call her "baby." Either someone wants to give you a nickname or they don't, but you can't force it...awkward and served zero purpose to the story. An additional .25 deduction for naming their daughter Blakely. 🤢 #thatnameisatragedeigh!
