This is an interesting fusion of mystery and sci-fi, blending a classic murder mystery with time travel. Although I’m not entirely satisfied with every answer, I can absolutely appreciate how much of a beast this book likely was to write, and I’m impressed the author could tell such a convoluted story. About halfway through, I was worried that the plot would get so muddled and messy that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the resolution, but that wasn’t the case.

What I loved about this book:
The complexity of the story chef's kiss
The eerie way the setting just came alive which made for the perfect backdrop to this story chef's kiss
The fact that this book takes the honors for most despised characters chef's kiss
I didn't guess a single plot twist chef's kiss

I need this book to be made into a movie or a short HBO series pleaseeeee
