Surprisingly good. Readable and interesting. With odd characters that we are slowly getting to know. Even the Axis stoyline couldn't wreck this book. Even Marvel alternate universe crossover with Spider-man 2099 couldn't wreck this book. And yet we are still not seeing all that much of most of the characters. But Danger and Warlock were done well. And Polaris and Scarlet Witch and Danger go to a Renaissance Faire and talk and save a fake witch from being burned at the stake. With good enough art.

Five stars for Wanda and Lorna taking out a "nice guy" knight bro at a Ren Faire.

Also omg honestly, everything about this is so great! Robot drama! Maximoff family drama! Gambit drama! (COULD HAVE USED MORE CATS BUT WHATEVER)! Time travel drama!!

SO MAD THIS WAS CANCELED BUT AWARE THAT I'M PART OF THE PROBLEM SINCE I'M READING IT LATE

WAHHHH

A cross over can be a delightful thing but far more often it gets in the way of or in this case derails, a perfectly good series as it winds down. This version of X-Factor never really shot for the moon but it was a fun story by old hand Peter David that went to the deep mutant bench and gave us a team lead by Polaris of all people and gave Quicksilver a chance to atone for some of the jerky things he has done while doing new jerky things and Gambit to be a toned down version of himself. It's all fine but this last collection is all over the place and feels more like a series of hastily thrown together team ups than letting this series naturally run its course.
