I really loved how all the stories tied together! And i was super shocked about Tyler being the prophet, but i could sort of see it coming. I loved each character's POV and how interesting their stories were before and after the collapse.

Hard to even classify this as speculative fiction - far more poetic & modern literary fiction. Reads very much like an exploration of concepts around how we see the world & what makes life worth it. Formatted very poetically in a way that really backs up the text. Low on the characters and plot, high on the musings, prose is quite charming.
i cannot stop thinking about this book. was originally 3 stars for me but now im thinking of bumping it to 5 stars... excited to reread it
