Very cute. Had some slightly cheesy parts but overall enjoyed reading it. Likable characters and a good build.

This was book #14 for Romanceopoly 2020.

Challenge Pack: Sun
Square: The Bar
Challenge: Read a book set where you live or have lived - it can be city/town/state/country...be as specific s you like!

This is the first romance that I have found that is set in DC and I love it. I'm super picky about stories being set in my hometown but Mia Sosa nailed it. The story doesn't have the characters visiting all the tourist site just because, instead they are in real neighborhoods and doing real things.

Lina and Max are my favorite new couple. Lina is a total control freak which I could completely relate to, and Max is chill that it's almost annoying. However together they are perfect. I love their banter and antics. I can't wait for Sosa's book about Max's best friend, Dean.

Poor writing. The male main character was annoying and insecure. He was also desperate

I enjoyed the characters separately but really felt they had very little chemistry at the beginning and then immediately had loads in a page or two. The build up just felt off. Also really struggled to get past the fact that the love interest is her ex-fiancé's brother - how small is your dating pool that they're both from the same family!!?

This book was truly amazing! It had some fun twists and turns! It was relatable about having a shield up about your feelings. It pulled at your heart strings. It made you want to be the best. I can easily say I could read this book over and over! Super good
