Just as good as the first one, but be warned! This one ends in medias res (on an almost-literal cliffhanger)!

As I mentioned in my review for the first book, I devoured book 1 and then immediately borrowed/devoured this one.

This one ends abruptly and I shrieked, "What? WHAT???" because of where it stops. (Luckily I was alone at the time.)

Still, it's very good and highly recommended - just watch out for that ending!

Re-read in 2022 in the lead-up to listening to the final (?) book in the series. The cliffhanger is still a doozy, even with the third book on standby!

Again, this book is definitely not perfect but I really enjoyed learning more about the Binder family. This story didn't really wrap anything up for us and left on a cliffhanger. I'm not a big fan of that but regardless, diving into book 3 immediately.
