I didn't enjoy this as much as the first in the series.

While it has the same length and easy-to-read writing style, I found this installment to be rather depressing from start to finish. I never mind when characters are going through a rough patch, but this more felt as though no one could catch a freaking break.

I am hoping for (and kind of expecting) a peaceful and moderately happy end to the trilogy, but this one is arguably not appropriate for the cozy shelf where [b:White Trash Warlock|53255694|White Trash Warlock (Adam Binder, #1)|David R. I couldn’t put this one down - two-sitting read! A huge step forward from the really great series debut.

I am so enamored of this perfect mix of magic and mystery. Can’t wait for more!

Reminiscent in a good way of parts of "Wynonna Earp" and "Supernatural." Fun and we learn more about Adam's family and the series' magic system.

I thought it was a duology.
Nooooooo what is that cliffhanger? Nooooo !!
But gosh if the next book doesn't sounds amazing ❤️ and I will kill for Nic, don't tempt me.

2nd in trilogy, story continues as more Binder family secrets begin to surface, the dark druid seems to be behind every turn, and war brews on the Other Side, really enjoyed.

This is the best urban fantasy book series I have read so far. Characters are immensely relatable and I love to see them (and their abilities) develop as time goes on. An excellent sequel in a great series so far. Very much looking forward to #3.

Ohhh Adam... I loved the development in Trailer Park Trickster, as well as the exploration of prejudice and family secrets, and as ever I was so impressed by the constant, delicate exploration of life on the breadline. A worthy sequel to White Trash Warlock, I'm so looking forward to the next book in the series.
