I love the growth of the characters in this book!!! I also enjoyed the YEARNING and work Wes put in for his girl.

LYNN PAINTER WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT. This book was absolutely phenomenal. I loved getting to come back into the little Wes and Liz universe. I also found it so funny to see their personalities swap... I honestly couldn't put this book down..there is something about the characters and the story that wouldn't let me stop reading. I seriously regret putting this book off for so long. There isn't a single flaw with this book besides the fact that it ended. Men TAKE NOTES from Wes Bennett PLEASE.

I loved Better Than The Movies, and absolutely LOVED the sequel, all the hurt and emotions that were explored and as always, a HEA

Absolute perfection.
With second-chance romance being a favourite trope of mine, this book felt like a gift!!!!
I loved that despite Liz being hardened by heartbreak, nothing was going to deter Wes from winning her back. The angst, tension & chemistry was delicious for a YA novel. Although I wouldn’t be mad if they broke up again.. giving us a third-chance romance with some spice

disappointed as fuck. only giving it a star because i (slowly) buddy read it with apoorva <3

3 and a half stars. to wes— i’m so sorry i wasn’t your writer. this book would have been less miserable if there wasn’t song lyrics in the narrative and the lynn painter was trying to keep up with the gen z slang, honestly it was annoying. it felt like it was written to appease a certain group of people. other than the nitpicking, i think it was also well rounded. wes’ story didn’t get the appreciation it deserved. he is a wonderful character.
