This book I would say, was better than the first. It felt significantly more emotionally complex, as they explored the depths of their relationship and the emotional feelings they shared with each other. I love a classic enemies-to-lovers, but a second chance is really interesting. I totally recommend along with all of Lynn Painter's books. I also love that they're in college and UCLA is my dream school, so...

I did NOT like Liz in this book, though her hesitation and hatred was definitely warranted UP UNTIL she found out that he didnt cheat on her. Her feelings were valid, however, she should have been more considerate towards Wes imo since he was going through a lot more than she ever really realized. I also didnt like how she was portrayed as “one of the guys” because thats just embarrassing come on now. HOWEVER, I read the entire book in one sitting and loved it through and through so 5 stars

i literally yelled “they’re so cute” while reading this! i don’t know if it’s the fact that they grew up a bit more or i can relate to liz’s thought process but i loved this one more than the first! this was the cherry on top to their story and more
