Book 5 in the series and you get to learn more about the Sapien and Vampir worlds. As before the story concentrates on characters that are new and have an impact on keeping the peace between the two races but you still get to find out what his happening with Moarte, the rest of his family and the other Vampir in the Alliance.
As more characters are introduced, I am amazed at how big the world is and how each group does things differently. As in all the other books, the female characters play a big part in the story and for a race that is centuries old, the Vampir are the more forward-thinking and are trying to save the existence of both worlds.
I love this series and every new book I read takes me further into this world. The read was fast-paced as there was always a sense of danger when the Vampir went into the Sapien's land. This book is dark and sensual and I can't wait to read more of this series. If you love the vampire world than get this series
