It started slow for me in the sense that it had too much preamble. But I’m happy that I read this still because the banter between Elsa and Hades was top-notch. So hilarious, I was clapping and laughing out loud.
Nora was such a character, I love her too!
So far, I’ve been on a binge reading this author’s works. I did notice he tends to repeat sentences or statements, which loses its appeal after reading it for the third time.
Lastly, I love the plot of this. The betrayal was juicy, it wasn’t something I would have thought of, so it did surprise me.
I’m not the biggest fan of why Elsa wasn’t around towards the end. It’s so out of the blue and far from what’s happening that I almost had a whiplash. Nonetheless, it was a fun read!

To be honest ever since I learnt Hades' story was coming, I knew it would be a 5 star book for me. And look at this - 5 big and fat stars. AND if I could, I'd give it more. IT'S SO GOOD!
I totally ignored my adult-life responsibilities during the day, I zoomed the world completely out and dived 100% into this story. No, not only dived in. I devoured it! I couldn't put it down for a second and I couldn't get enough of Hades and Elsa.
Hades Drakos is one of the brothers of the head of the Greek mafia, and let's just say that he's best known as "not sleeping with the same woman more than once" type of guy. There is, however, one particular woman who's been quite immune to his charms.
Elsa is Drakos' family lawyer and a badass, basically. She's strong, independent and very professional. She's cold, she's "strictly and straight to the business" girl, and she's probably the only woman who has ever said "no" to the god of the underworld himself - which, honestly, is very entertaining to watch.

It's amusing how immune you think you are to my charms.
They always held some animosity against each other, but then a certain night at a certain club happens and, well... they can kiss the animosity between them goodbye.
But you don't have to do a thing to make me want you. I always fucking want you.
Hades and Elsa hold all the fire and chemistry and freaking fireworks from the very beginning 🔥🔥🔥
The angst, the banter and the spice in this book are surreal! When I say this book is hot, this book is freaking HOT! 🥵🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Hades is so different from what we learn about him in the previous books and I believe he had one of the best character developments. He actually surprised me a lot, he's funny and I love his personality so much! 🖤🖤🖤
This is pretty much all I'll say to his regard, trust me you'll want to meet Hades on your own and fall deeply in love with this man, as have I. 🫶🏼
This book has everything to keep you glued to it from the first page until its last. The secrets, the plot, the relationships, the angst (I said it already, I know, it's worth repeating), oof! 🤯 Honestly, I have no words other than to say this is definitely my favourite book in the series so far and I just want more and more of Hades and Elsa and the Drakos' family.
So, if you're thinking I'm probably counting the days until I get my hands on Twisted Hearts, you're 100% correct. I cannot wait to meet Gavan, I think he'll be a mind-blowing surprise.

I couldn't get enough of this book and ended up reading it completely in one sitting. Else a girl who tried everything to keep her sister safe from the outside world. Hades a bad boy macho alpha who thought he was never falling in love when in reality he was going to fall head over heels for his attorney. In this book you would see everything from angst to betrayal from a family member. I had to read this book in one sitting because what a wonderful rollercoaster. This book is a must read I totally recommend it.
