I had been dying to read Hades and Elsa's story since book 1 and boy did this not disappoint. The tension between them was like jumping into a fire but in a good way.
Hades has the reputation of being with a lot of women but never for more than one night, while Elsa is the cold, uptight lawyer and the Greek Mafia is one of her unofficial, official clients. Hades and Elsa are complete opposites who make it known that they despise one another until one night they fall into bed together changing everything.
Everything in this book was unbelievably good, the spice, the banter between Elsa and Hades, and the angst, it all had me begging for more. Hades was the definition of the misunderstood villain, which I am always a sucker for.
However, the ending of the book felt like it was missing something. The climax portion of the book felt as if it was just skipped over along with some things that happened at the end came out of nowhere, that didn't really match up with the plot.
overall, this book was so good, and if you love an unhinged mafia man I definitely suggest this book.

This was good, but slightly cringey. If y'all know me, then you know how much I despise the nickname "kitten". What, is she your pet cat that you just adopted tf??? Idk but that nickname's so not for me lol. Also, the whole conflict was wrapped up a little too quickly and Hades quickly went from doubting that Elsa had betrayed him to a light bulb suddenly going off in his head and him realising that she wasn't a narc. Like that was so abrupt why??? Elsa being a bitch - no matter how wasted she was - to Vanta absolutely did not sit right with me. That was so uncalled for and extremely shitty of her to do without reason. And the fact that she didn't even apologise later and that it was basically swept under the rug makes it even worse. One more thing that I've realised is that Mr Jagger Cole's books pretty much ALWAYS have a virgin heroine. And I hate that. So much. Like why tf is the hero always experienced but the heroine is the one who loses her virginity to the hero and he's the only man she's been with? Seems kinda hypocritical to me. And I'm so over that clichéd trope y'all. Regardless, this book was a good read, the smut was good and I did like how OTT Hades was so there's that ig. I just wish we'd gotten a solid ending and that there weren't so many plotholes. With that being said, I look forward to reading Gavan's book next!

I loved the spice of the book and you get an amazing plot to go with it. You will definitely stay on the edge of your seat with this book. Im truly loving this series 5 star read for sure!!!

When she does let loose, it is immediately in the right way with the God of the underworld. And that in a kink club and disguised with maksers.
Hades finds out about this and of course he has never felt anything for a woman or doesn't do repeats, but Elsa makes sure he only has her!
I thought the ending was a bit rushed.
At first he believes that she betrayed him and then suddenly something clicks in Hades' head, causing him to finally realize where Elsa is. And then without any explanation everything is fine between them again. I would have liked Hades to do a bit more groveling.

Love this story, a continuation of the Dark Hearts series, here we follow Elsa and Hades. They appear to be total opposites but as the saying goes opposites attract.
Their attraction is electric once they both give in to it, their meeting at the club was red hot.
Elsa is so strong, looking after her younger sister while exceeding in a high profile job, a real superstar. She fled continents to take back her life and pours herself into work to escape her past.
Hades is a perpetual playboy, having no real passion apart from the Drakos family business.
The interactions between the various Mafia families makes for a great story, betrayals and alliances weaving a complex web.
Really enjoyed this story, fast paced and full of plot twists, an entertaining read. Can’t wait for the next instalment in this wonderful series.
