Wonderful story of unconditional love. Curious to look up more by the same author. Just found out she wrote Pay It Forward.
Boring. Would have been an ok story, but the writing is sophomoric, and the characters one-sided. No passion or emotion whatsoever in this book, despite what should have been a tear jerker of a plot. Read Blessings by Anna Quindlen instead.
Just an average book. Not much character development and they didn't feel real to me.
I enjoyed the theme of the story which was unconditional love, but the plot was slow and at times repetitive.

More like 2.5 stars. It wasn't horrible, but it was predictable, I didn't like or really care about any of the characters and I looked forward to the book being over.
