I give this book a full five star rating. My only disappointment is that I read it on my kindle and now I have to go buy the book because I must have a hard copy on my shelf of favorite reads!

From Amazon Kindle rental library. Plot was decent, but writing simplistic, like a young adult book. The characters could have been developed so much more richly, but overall it was fairly pleasant to read.

Good message conveyed on parenting, relationships and family. Giving birth doesn’t always make a parent. The young Infant left in the woods was fortunate to be found by the right person willing to be a patient reasonable and giving parent.

I enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and the pacing. It's an easy, 'steady' read. Kept me interested the whole way through.
It reminded me a little of Kent Haruf or Marilyn Robinson, although perhaps not as complex.

I wasn't sure when I was in the early chapters of this book. It turned out to be a pretty good read. i found myself enjoying the last half much more than the first :)
