I loved this newest read from Elizabeth O'Roark! Drew and Josh were so wonderful together and I loved their banter when they were playing it off like they didn't like one another. Six was such a s*** and Drew deserved so much more but I loved that she was sticking it out for Beth. Watching these two develop feelings for one another was so beautiful and I found myself wishing for more because once they were finally together it just didn't last long enough for me.

The epilogue was AMAZING as well but it made me feel like Drew should have given up on her mother because she never truly stood up for her and I wish we could have seen her put them in their places but I guess that is life because we all have someone we let walk all over us.

I highly recommend this book and my only wish is that it could have been longer so I could have spent more time with the couple!
funny lighthearted slow-paced

This is a good slow burn romance.
With a little bit of tension regarding Josh’s job (doctor in Somalia…).
It is an enemies to lovers between a pop star and a doc.

Also I was expecting to laugh as much as I did with the first book of the serie (A deal with the devil) which I highly recommend.

five stars! ʚïɞ

this has to be one of the sweetest, most pure romances i have ever read. i genuinely was not expecting loving this book so damn much, but josh and drew were quite literally perfect together.

once again, the banter between them as “enemies” cracked me up. i loved how witty they were and how they both tried hiding smiles around each other whenever the other said something funny. and the way that josh always kept an eye on drew, like he didn’t even think twice about it. i absolutely melted for that man it isn’t even funny.

and drew’s character development was quite literally some of the best i have ever read. i loved that she finally realized she couldn’t keep letting her management walk all over her and how she stood up for herself in the end. i loved how josh supported her and encouraged her. this is the kind of love that i dream of having.

gah i loved this too much. the slow friendship, the stolen glances, the way josh could read drew better than she could. this was perfection

I really liked Drew and Josh! These two were great together and for each other! Tons of chemistry and a great connection. I also loved their banter. Another slow burn, but this one was super hot once they got together. I liked this one better than the first and I really liked that one! Can't wait for more in this series!

This is a second in a series. I have read the next one but I had skipped this one. I liked it. I especially liked all the little things that the MMC saw and did for the FMC. I would have liked to see more people communicating though.
