A grumpy x grumpy, dual POV, vacation romance between Drew, a famous singer trying to hide from a bad PR event and the older doctor brother of her ex-boyfriend who ends up falling for her while in Hawaii with his family despite his misconceptions that Drew is a vapid rockstar. This was good on audio read by Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels (two of my fav narrators), with great panic attacks/asthma rep (her). Not my very fav by this author but still a fun read!

I was hesitant based on the complex storyline but I’m glad I ended up purchasing this one. Family vacation where a mother invites her sons most recent girlfriends regardless of current status. Forbidden love, fame, and slow burn.

OMG, this series just keeps getting better!! I mean I loved the first book but I sincerely ADORE this one. I'm so glad Drew escaped that toxic lifestyle she surrounded herself with. the pace of the book all those simple precious moments piling up to create a healthy foundation to start an amazing relationship. josh was a fresh of breath air compared to what an ass six is. I hope he gets a redemption arc it was obvious these two weren't meant to be. they are too similar in their misery to balance each other out. Anyway, the conclusion is I love this couple immensely and enjoyed this book TO PIECES definitely going on my Favorite book's shelf.

After A Deal With the Devil, I could not wait to have my hands on Drew’s story. I was definitely not disappointed and was left wishing for more when it ended. If there is one thing Elizabeth O’Roark excels at it’s slow burn. The tension between Drew and Joshua was gloriously palpable. Their story had an enemies to lovers vibe that just fueled the fire that was burning beneath. That snark and banter was like a delicious foreplay and I couldn’t tear my eyes away. I loved the way Joshua appreciated Drew for exactly who she was and my heart soared to finally see Drew take charge of her life. The cameos from Tali and Hayes were everything. The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea was this perfect blend of humor, steam and emotion that I savored from beginning to end.
