Absolutely loved this
There were some questionable moments but this was so bingeable I’m just pretending those didn’t happen.
An overworked pop star wants to give her ex a second chance and agrees to go on vacation with him and his family. Though she dreads being forced to spend time with her ex's obnoxious older brother, she slowly realizes that he's a much better fit for her than her ex.
Lovely slow-burn, enemies to lovers forbidden romance by one of my favorite authors. Drew and Josh's relationship had such a wonderful, realistic and simmering build-up. I loved how Drew started to notice and appreciate all of Josh's wonderful qualities, including how he protects her and stands up for her. There's also a great only-one-bed scene which is like crack to me.
The story doesn't feel quite as cohesive in the the last third because the vacation ends and the main characters start travelling all over the place as part of their jobs. However, I liked how the plot took a more serious turn with Drew's abusive manager and both characters realizing they couldn't deny their attraction any longer.

“Is that what you think?” he asks. There’s the tiniest movement of his mouth, a sly look in his eyes as they cut slowly to me. The look he’d have if he were actually thinking about sex and wanting it, and about to get it. And I know, based simply on that look and the smug confidence in his voice, that he is anything but ambivalent and clinical. That sleeping with him would be hot and indulgent and messy and perfect and he would ruin me for anyone else. And I think I’d be better off not knowing it.

I found this a good read. The fmc was a pretty unique one that I hadn't seen before and the mmc was also really nice. I loved how protective he was after they really got to know each other. I would've rated this 5 stars if not for the third act break up scene in which I felt they were both inconsiderate. Also I wish we'd gotten to see more of them after they'd gotten together officially.

This was sooooo good. I literally read it in one evening I didn’t want to stop. It was sweet and spicy and I really loved Drew and Josh so much. Also Beth was the sweetest and it made me so happy when she basically adopted Drew into the family right away.
