Even though this book is still great, it's probably my least favorite Tiffany Jackson book I've read so far. The timeline was slightly too confusing. I understand why she wrote it with all of the time jumps, but I just got confused about when certain events fit into the timeline. Overall, I would still reccomend this book to people, but I would warn them about the time jumps.

This is a tough but important read about the way society treats missing brown and black girls. The fact that it is based on two true stories makes it even more devastating. I think there were parts of the book that actually sort of undermined the point it's trying to make about missing girls, and I wanted the narrative to be a bit more character driven. But overall it was a very interesting, gripping book about an important subject. I couldn't put it down.

I would recommend this for others… but not for me.

I didn’t guess the ending exactly but I knew the fate of Monday pretty early on. I struggled reading this from the perspective of a 13 year old. She acted her age but I just struggled with the immaturity.

The tone of voice was also something I wasn’t a fan of. And all the characters were really frustrating but it helped me feel the frustration from Claudia’s perspective.

The different timelines made sense in the end but could be really confusing. I also listened as an audiobook so that could be a factor here.

Also they could’ve kept that romantic element…

But all in all, I would recommend this as for mystery lovers but it was sad and just an overall frustrating read for me.

Amazing read but it’s so heartbreaking Jesus Christ and for that reason, it will be a while before I actually read it again
