The first 3/4s of this thing FLEW. But the last quarter really dragged. The fact that this is a true story is very interesting, but the authors tendency to pat himself on the back as a Robin Hood when he’s just taking money from Russian billionaires and giving it to other billionaires feels a bit blind.
Fascinating look into Russia’s corruption — what a scary world they live in. Browder comes off as a naïve narcissist, but I admire how he’s committed himself to activism after the mistakes he’s made.
