I really need to read more Green Lantern comics, this series is awesome and I want more. The mythology of the first lantern and how the rings were made is fascinating and I love how far Simon and Jessica have come in their own personal journeys. Looking forward to the next volume.

I like Simon and Jess and would probably enjoy a straight forward series where they are rookie Green Lanterns working a bit. What I don't like is a constant diving into Lantern past and cooking up new/old kooky villains. Pass.

I talk a little about this run in a Green Lantern themed episode of the All the Books Show: https://soundcloud.com/allthebooks/off-the-books-no-one-asked-green-lantern-first-flights
