If this was 300 pages it would be so much better, but 460 pages are unnecessary, it felt like 900 pages. I was more interested into Emmett and Cara relationship then Carter and Ollie. I'm exhausted.

Oops
The last chapter was definitely my favorite. This book actually took me so freaking long to read. I almost dnf'd it like twice. I love sport books, but I will never actually fully know anything about hockey but I like this book.

“this book was corny” sorry you hate fun??
i have read this book at least 3 times, and the first time i read it i was giggling within 20 pages. how do i know that, you ask?
there is VIDEO EVIDENCE. the first time i ever read this i sent my group chat a video of me being like
“this man is so annoying??? why do i love him???” and then about 8 other videos as i read it. and i still giggle every time i re-read it. this book is just so COZY and the found family aspect is so sweet and comfy as well
