Really great art and story. Horror with monsters and kids, so reminiscent of Stranger Things. But with a cool monster killer and a talking octopus puppet?! Weird in a great way.

It was an intriguing premise, and I certainly enjoyed parts of it, but I wasn't personally engaged or fascinated by the art style. No insult to the creator; this is just a difference in preference.
I will likely continue the series because they are quick and entertaining reads, perfect for reaching my annual goal.
Goodreads doesn't allow 1/2 stars, but I would personally give this 3.5.

I am positively enthralled with this series! Absolutely stunning (albeit horrifically graphic) art and the story has me on the edge of my seat. I am chewing through the issues I can't wait to see what happens in Vol. 2!
