This is probably the creepiest graphic novel I've ever read. The author and illustrator succeed in giving you a sense of who the characters are at the most basic level in a limited number of pages. It is pretty gory, though, so keep that in mind before reading. This is just the beginning of the story, though, so learn from my example and make sure to have the next issue on hand, because it's easy to get hooked on the plot.

Because this was such a fast read and I tried not to focus too much on the gore, I'm shockingly looking forward to reading the rest of these.

I love the illustration, the story is alright and overall I got more spooked than I tend to from things like this. I liked it.

If you're a fan of horror, you'll likely get hooked into this comic! I took my time reading it and I think it really helped in becoming more engrossed in the story. Volume one is really the tip of a larger plot.
