This was so sappily sweet and full of sweet tea I'm pretty sure I'm diabetic now. The "mystery" was unbelievable and barely there. I found it ultimately disappointing, and the love story was just.... Ugh

Slow start but ended up well
The book got off to a slow start and I couldn’t get invested in the main characters. Eventually however things started to gel and the storyline got more emotional and intense. The crisis was well done and had me anxious. There is a HFN ending and book ends with a cliffhanger which is annoying.
