Yes, yes, yes! I loved this book so much. If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for a paranormal romance, and add in a school setting? Absolutely. IN. LOVE. I love how the book started, it's something that really stands out to me because we have Clementine in the dungeons trying to make it safely through feeding a bunch of monsters and it just sets the perfect scene - not to mention how big a role those same monsters play throughout the story! I loved Clem's storytelling so much, I was so engrossed that I felt like I was right there with her, observing the students of Calder Academy for myself and all the weird events that follow.

The mystery of Jude in the beginning had me hooked, he's the attractive, mysterious guy who had a past with our FMC and I love how there was so much mystery surrounding this past. I loved the anger, the longing and the tension between these two! This world was so cool, instead of your normal vampire/wolf-shifter storyline, we got a whole variety of paranormal creatures! From maticores to pheonixes, sirens to oracles, and even the literal Prince of Nightmares! I absolutely loved how different and unique the world building was, it's honestly nothing at all like anything I have ever read before!

As for the plot? Brilliant. Every single second of this book captivated me. I loved all the side characters, Izzy, Luis, Ember, Mozart, Remy, and even Simon really made this book. And the action? One minute the characters are trying to keep safe during a raging storm, the next people are bursting into flames or melting or murdering and dying infront of this group of friends and I love how they take charge and try to fix it. I loved the nightmares and the entire story behind Jude and his powers, it was really so cool. The ending left me shocked and with some questions I seriously need some answers too! I cannot wait for Sweet Chaos!

Well... this was definitely not for me. I was not interested in any of the characters, was confused through most of it, the plot was... well I don't even know. And there was just too many characters and too much going on to keep up with all while in a category 5 hurricane!?! I skimmed the majority of the book because I was bored reading it.

The only positive, short chapters. Definitely can appreciate them but the pacing was still off and this book was just way to long.
