I thought the original day of this story took too long. However, once I got to the repeating days, I enjoyed it. Not sure I really buy the ending, but I liked the message. Family is priority #1.

I’m heartbroken after finishing Maybe Next Time by Cesca Major. When I saw that this book was magical realism I knew I needed to read it as I have found it’s typically my favourite genre. The story is so sad, but also sweet, touching and a bit depressing. It was quite the journey and I definitely didn’t expect that ending.
