This is an exhaustive account of Jan Baalsrud's escape from the German Nazis in Norway to Sweden over the course of two months in 1943. It's so exhaustive and detailed that it's hard to wade through. It's also really grisly in parts. Important to know, but the reading experience isn't pleasant.

A true story of endurance and bravery to fight for what's right. It's cold here at the moment and this book really was suitable for reading during this winter weather.
