Hopefully, Kiyoka will gain all the intel he needs from Arata to find a solution to Miyo’s nightmares soon. This volume also gave us some brief insight into Hazuki’s life. Despite looking like a jolly person, Hazuki had her share of issues with her husband and his family. Based on how it ended, we’re in for a nice info-heavy volume. This upcoming volume should give us everything we want to know about Sumi’s character and the reasons behind most of her actions. Overall, this was a solid volume.
Oh Miyo, poor girl. I understand why she is so hesitant to not tell Kiyoka, but you cannot put so much pressure yourself if you’re not feeling well. And Kiyoka tries to be understanding and not force her to tell him anything, but he looks so worried … also this new dude is very sus (though the ending kinda makes sense of it), but I mean- he shouldn’t involve himself THAT much into other people relationships … and now, let’s wait for volume 5, whenever that might be released :(

Well I’m all caught up. Definitely going to have to go pick up the light novels because I need to know what happens next.
I just knew that tsuruki guy was going to be an usuba he was so sus not to be. And that Miyo’s nightmares were partly premonitions. Still have a theory that she’s connected to the emperor’s family but I’ll have to wait and see. I’m just so obsessed with her and Kiyoka’s relationship.
Also loved the little short story at the end, especially Hazuki’s reflection on Kiyoka and Miyo being right for each other because they’ve both known loneliness. There’s something beautifully poignant about that.
