Another I picked up on a whim, but I really liked this! And the anime is great as well. The time period, the characters! Some magic mixed in to make it just that much better.

I loved the romantic relationship. They’re both so devoted to each other and they struggle with balancing their care for each other with needing to be a little selfish and vocalize what they need/want.

felt like we took twenty steps back from the three little steps forward we took in the previous volumes. was so pissed off with the lack of communication but was glad to finally see we were getting somewhere with the underlying plot of the story when it comes to the backstory of the heroine's family on her mother's side.
