I read cookbooks. This is one of those great cookbooks with stories and history woven throughout. Some of the recipes are a bit beyond my interest and a bit of offal, but there are some favorites as well. You will find all your expected Irish recipes like Irish soda bread and corned beef and cabbage but you will also find some lesser known Irish fare. Worth reading.
