This collection was SO good. Some stories were superstars, others were just okay but none sucked. Absolutely worth a read for perfect zombie horror stories in little bite sized chunks (🤭).

The 3-phrase vibe review:
  • Om-nom-nom
  • ?Cannibalism
  • Character studies galore!

An excellent anthology that continues in George Romero's world of zombies. Some of the stories are far more graphic than others but nothing here really has a happy ending. All the same, it's amazing to see so many notable authors-- many of the zombie genre-- write in one place, all with the same rules.

Mixed bag like a lot of anthologies, but I enjoyed them more than not.

As a fan of Night of the Living Dead since shortly after its release in the 60's I found this book to be a great continuation of the story. The Blackstone audio edition has some amazing narration I just wish they did a better job of giving credit to the narrators. I particularly want to know who narrated Jay Bonansinga's, Fast Entry, but I am interested in whose voice I was hearing telling each tale.
