Such a good ending. We finally learn about the demons that have been driving Nick from the very beginning. Avery still had to fight for it, but she seemed better equipped after that year apart. She seemed to come back on a more even playing field.

While I hate separations between a couple, I actually liked how this one was handled. Plus we don't actually go through the separation since book 3 jumps forward to current time. I'm a big fan of billionaire stories and this one rates high up in my favorites.

I did a re-read with the audiobooks. The narrator did such a good job that I highly recommend them. You also get a dual narration in this last book.

avery thinks very highly of herself in trying to tell nick how to heal his demons oh she enrages me

Sometimes when I read about a separation thats for 1 year, I have a hard time grasping it. Not that it deterred me from reading the book, I just felt the attraction between Avery and Nick from book 1 that I think maybe 6 months would have made more sense. Anyways, we get more info on Nick's past and its not what I was expecting at all, such a shocker! This series brings the heat and tension. It was really good.

Yes yes yes

This book and the other two were just freakin great. I stayed up way too late and sacrificed my sleep to finish because I just couldn’t stop until I read the ending.
I love this love journey. First I absolutely adore that nick is obsessed to the maximum with Avery. I think his obsession is over the top at points but who wouldn’t want their man obsessed with them? I mean of course you want them to be obsessed with you. He takes it to another level though. Holy crappola. I want to be Avery. I want all of it lol
Also Avery is a bosss in this book. Killin it with her art and friendships and social climbing. Heck yes. This was the ultimate experience and journey reading this book. I highly recommend reading all three

Loved this conclusion to this trilogy
dark emotional medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

When I started this series I was not sure it was for me. Book 1 was okay as it did not connect me to the storyline. Book 2 had better detail with the characters so my connection was getting stronger then this book was so good. Avery & Ross both had to deal with demons of their past on their own terms and come to realize that you don't need to do that alone. No matter your status in society we all have some of the same issues so don't judge! I am looking forward to the next one.

Final book in the Avery/Nick Trilogy

Nick and Avery haven’t seen or spoken to each other in a year. They have both continued the motions in their careers but haven’t moved forward in their personal lives.
Avery has dated men but never got anywhere close to that intimate connection like she did with Nick. And her reason, these men just aren’t Nick. Which is silly because she needs to get over Nick and move on. She’s the one that walked away.

Nick could have met some random woman to get over the love of his life, Avery. But he just can’t force himself to do it. She’s the only one he wants in his heard and in his life. So he just stays miserable and lonely. Not a day goes by that he doesn’t wonder what she is doing and wishing she were there in his arms.

So what happens when a chance encounter has them seeing each other again for the first time in a year. Can Nick get Avery to stop and listen to him and hear his apologies? Will Avery get over Nicks lies and betrayal and be able to renew their relationship.

Read on to learn how the conclusion of the Nick/Avery love story concludes. Will Nick finally let Avery in enough to learn his deepest secrets?

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! I love this series! This is the first series I have read from this author and I love it !!!!!! This is the best conclusion to this series. I was expecting it but wow.
