Abby Jimenez knows how to write the perfect male protagonist! Jacob was everything <3 I loved the anxiety representation in this book. I also loved seeing characters from previous stories! Anything Abby writes, I’ll read!

Look. This was recommended to me multiple times solely for the anxiety representation. And it delivered. This is a world I wanted to stay in. I actually stayed up late to keep reading because I really did seem to care deeply about these two people and their families.

“You do realize that you’re really going to have to live with me now, right?”
-
I really loved this book! The first half of it wasn’t my favorite, but I loved the second half. I also have social anxiety and I learned so much about myself in this story. I’d have to say, Jacob is probably my favorite male lead so far in this series.
In this book, there were a lot of communication problems mainly on Bri’s part, which was a little frustrating to read, but the author makes sure you don’t hold a grudge. They’re both rightfully broken in the beginning and watching them overcome their personal struggles was beautiful to read.
Abby is a wonderful writer, but she’s also made me realize how much I hate epilogues.
