Libro que me ha fascinado. Pone punto y final a absolutamente todo lo que llevábamos pendiente desde el primer libro. Eso si, me ha dado pena ponerle punto y final a esta saga
I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series. This one introduced me to some topics I’ve never thought of before, and wrapped them in the ongoing saga of Salander and Blomkvist.
I originally read this book right after its 2019 release. I’ve reread the entire series to read the next (by Karen Smirnoff) installment. I think time and the rereading really changed my view on the second trilogy. Salander is a peripheral character in these books with almost superhuman/ superhero themes. Each of Lagercrantz’s books are compelling as standalone stories but really push the boundaries of the absurd in the full Salander trajectory. I’m choosing to leave my previous ratings but hope Smirnoff takes a different path with her book (books?). I’ll keep reading anything involving Salander but… hope the suspension of disbelief gets easier.
Oof. I wish I could stop reading these stupid books. Once again, David Lagercrantz shows zero interest in having any kind of character development happen in his books. The characters lives have magically changed and their personalities are transitioned to new cardboard cutouts.
The plot is absurd. The investigative journalism is completely absent at this point. It's just a bad action movie without characters that could conceivably do well in the situations they're put in. There's a bit in there about a genetic analysis that gets just enough right to be annoying in all its inaccuracies. There's just so much wrong with the characters and plot that I cannot recommend this book to anyone. Stay away. Do not read it.
I think I keep reading because I want Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander to be the interesting characters they were, but they never are.

Excellent conclusion to the series. Very well read in the audiobook.
Nearly as good as the first in the series a gripping tail of mystery at Everest.
Not as good as the originals
Nowhere near as good as the original Steig Larson books but I always enjoy reading about
Lisbeth and Mickael's exploits.

Let’s be clear, this is no great work of art. But for what it is - a fast-paced, sometimes unbelievable, piece of escapist entertainment - it was good! Read if you just want a bit of fun in a quick read.
