For the first few chapters of this book I thought I was in for a a solid 3-star read. Then it surprised me with both the main characters - Annie and Will - getting deeper and more complex. I like romances when the characters spend a lot of time together, they are self-aware, and the dialogue is smart and fun. This ticks all of those boxes.
It also got funnier as it went along and a couple of the side characters grew on me (Noah and Mabel).
The dual POV works well and swoony scenes abound. I enjoyed this book!

loved when in rome i knew the second book would be good as well, it took me so long to read because of actively being in a reading slump and barely reading much, but i sat down today and wanted to read and ended up finishing more than half the book in one sitting, it was amazing. so good, i loved the plot annie and will are sooo so cute, sometimes the story a little slow but it was cute anyways!! i like that there wasn’t explicit spicy scenes just kissing scenes which were cute. loved the book :)

this arguably may be one of my favorite books. the main guy was tender, kind, and hot (duh) while the main girl was strong, sweet, and lovely. the romance started in the first chapter and there was only earnest “conflict”. so, so, so good. plus the steamy book aspect made me giggle. i didn’t even care that it was rated pg-13
