This book has been on my TBR for a while. I couldn’t tell you why I haven’t picked it up sooner. It was so good. I truly enjoyed it. I like a fake dating trope. I felt like somethings were borderline predictable if you were to actually like pay attention and care but I was just along for the ride and set my cruise control. Love a good HEA.

This was the cutest freakin book that I've ever read. It had me swooning and giggling and kickin my feet with a huge, cheesy grin. I love how Will helped Annie get out of the shell that she thought she should be in and helped her discover the person she really is inside. Annie helped Will uncover his family trauma and realize his worth and his deserving of love. Their relationship is really beautiful!
This is the sequel to When in Rome (a fave book from last year,) and I loved that we got to see Noah and Amelia get ready for their wedding. I'm really happy that they were in the story so much too and not just mentioned once or twice!
There were so many scenes that reminded me of certain episodes of Gilmore Girls, specifically when the town had bows for Team Luke or Team Lorelai. It was absolutely hilarious.
While this is a closed door romance, it certainly had its steam! The chemistry between Will and Annie is unmatched. Right from the beginning, you could tell that they were made for each other. I love how supportive he was of her, especially once he found out about her pirate romances lol.
If you read anyyy romances this year, make sure that this is on your list!! It will have cheesin ear to ear with how absolutely adorable and hilarious it is.
