A sweet rom com with fake dating troupe.
Our FMC is the perfect angelic youngest child in a family who is ready to break out of her mold and choose her own path. The MMC is tattooed body guard who is running from love due to a traumatic childhood. They do some fake dating and find new ways to be in the world. Largely fade to black scenes of spice. Cute banter.

Based on the five stars reviews I’m definitely in the minority here. I can see why people love this book it just wasn’t for me. At the beginning I really liked this book, but the plot wasn’t gripping and the pacing was a bit too slow for me. I felt the main characters were too boring for me and I couldn’t connect with them. Just cringed too hard at times (and not in a good way), so only two stars sadly.
