Fey? Chosen Family? Ace rep? Soft romance? Fairytale vibes?

This novella was MADE for ME! I'm so glad I enjoyed this!

Really well done themes around burn-out, surviving abuse and neglect, healing from trauma, learning your own worth, and all that - made my cry like like a b!

The actual prose was so beautiful as well <3 Descriptive and atmospheric, but still easy to read.

This book made me cry so much despite being so short.

This might be one of the most tender stories I've ever read, combined with such unique worldbuilding and such sweet characters.

This book was not exactly what I was expecting from how it was described to me; that being said, I quite enjoyed the read. It was nice to experience a found family with literal children and I loved the sense of healing that was found throughout the book. I loved the theme(s) of how to help and take care of others while not neglecting yourself, and Aeris and William are absolutely adorable together.

The ending left me warm and fuzzy. A great read for those happy chemicals.
