If I had not already finished the first 2 books of the series and enjoyed them I would’ve DNFed this. That said, it had some interesting comments about humanity 

• I really enjoyed the arc of Ringer
  and the baseball chess was cool and I actually liked the romance but her getting pregnant??? no.
• dude i’m sorry but going Divergent and having Cassie die at the end was just annoying. however, the full circle of the oxygen bombs was good. but I don’t get why the aliens would’ve had a ship for Mr Evil Military because wouldn’t they have manipulated him the same way they did everyone else???
• so many plots ended up meaning nothing but still killed off characters. which maybe was supposed to be deep but just pissed me off and left me with nothing

I loved the first book, the second book was enjoyable but not spectacular and I had high hopes for this last book to conclude the series. Unfortunately this book just wasn’t it for me. 

The story line was all over the place, which made the entire book quite confusing. I really wanted to finish this book, but I quite literally had to force myself to pick it up.
