I will place the content warnings at the bottom since they contain spoilers.

It was okay. That is really my rating.

I don't understand the point of starting the book off with a murdering alien priest. I don't care for all the different POVs I found it more confusing than insightful or helpful.

I have a lot of issues with this book, I didn't understand a lot of the 'twists' and I don't understand why some authors (SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!) kill off the main character, what's the point? Is it for shock value or what? And Ringer and Cassie didn't really get along if anything they tolerated each other, so why would Ringer name her baby Cassie? And now Ben and Ringer are together all of a sudden? I just have a lot of issues. In my opinion, the first book was the best and the last two, just felt like Rick gave up honestly.

Okay, listen. I didn’t enjoy reading this book. Perhaps it was that I’m still not used to reading audio books but I couldn’t easily follow the plot or the character motivations or any of that. But for some reason, it’s stuck with me for the last couple of months and I’ll give credit where credit’s due.
