This was a good first novel by the author with a touching and emotive ending. I enjoyed the characters, Ms. Gretchen was my favourite. I'm undecided as to whether to continue with #2 and #3.

An enjoyable read that touches on many heavy subjects such as: race, fertility, aging and expectations around aging/relationships.

Short chapters made this book easy to enjoy, and follow.

The characters were phenomenal and the bond between Tabitha and Granny Tab was undeniable.
