Found it to be not for me. . Could get in to it

I should have picked this up when it first came out; I'm sure it would have been 4 maybe 5 stars for me then. Now, ehh *shoulders shrugging*, it seems dated and whiny. I think it definitely suffers from me having seen the movie.

I never saw the movie and was shocked to see it was a book so went in blind. I felt lost through the whole book but based on the ending, it was entirely intentional.

My absolute favorite thing about this book is that it’s about being so wildly homosexual that you create an alter ego because you’re terrified of even popping your little head out of the closet and men use this book all the time to prove how fucking alpha they are.
