This book has nice photographs and interesting information about green homes, also called eco-homes. These homes are environmentally friendly in a variety of ways. The book is simple and should be good for children in 2nd through 5th grades. I think that the font that is used and the pages that have speckled backgrounds may make the book difficult for some students to read. The book includes a glossary and list of further resources on the topic.
