This book is hard to read because each story is heart-wrenching in it's own way, but it's painful in the most beautiful way. I liked that there were a variety of stories. Some of them were focused on the challenges that are uniquely faced by queer people, while others were stories where the characters just happened to be queer. I also appreciated the diversity of cultures the characters came from. It really encouraged me to find more books to read featuring characters from cultures I'm unfamiliar with.
I do wish the book had been edited a little bit more carefully. There were some weird typos/glaring errors that were a bit distracting.
